Hi I'm Christine (Noctor) of the Pure Irish and Christine's Country Jukebox, Live in Concert and the voice of many of the Station's imaging.  I am married to the Station Manager Tom and so I was conscripted into the Station in 1994. I startted out by helping organise some fundraising events for the station. Around the same time I started recording voice overs and sponsorship announcements for the station. When the Tv Show Big Brother was at the height of Its fame I was hooked on it. My first foray into broadcasting in my own right came when Paul Woods of The Moning Show asked if i would record inserts detailing latest happening in the Big Brother house for his show, this proved to be very well recieved by our listeners and I was bitten by the presenting bug. The Pure Irish show soon followed, this shows featured 100% Irish Music, a genre I am passionate about. I was delighted to recieve two Best Irish Programme Awards on Irish Hospital Radio from The Irish Hospital Radio Network the representative body for all Irish Hospital Stations for my show The Pure Irish show. With the bug for presenting firmly embedded  I added the Live in Concert  where I play a Concert from a featured artist in its entirety and Christine's Country Jukebox where I feature the best of national and international country music  to my list of shows. I love presenting my shows , recieveing requests and entertaining all the service users and staff of St. Ita's Hospital and all of our online listeners.
