Training Overview
Explore the detailed training steps to empower HospitalRadio.ie team members with essential skills and knowledge for delivering exceptional service.
Introduction to Training
In the past we have organized Training Workshops which were funded by The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland Through The Irish Hospital Radio network . Our training policies and goals all stem from those workshops.
Practical Application
Since we changed to an online Station with presenters based all over Ireland and the U.K. it is no longer practical to hold in person workshops. We now publish our training documents here and our presenters are expected to avail of that training.
Quality Assurance
The Management team constantly monitor the presenters on air to ensure that the ethos and policies of the station are adhered to ensuring a high quality is maintained.
Should any issue arise the presenter will be contacted and offered the one to one support necessary to rectify the issue.
Defamation

The law of defamation in Ireland is governed by the Constitution, common law and the Defamation Act 2009. That Act repeals the Defamation Act 1961, which was in force until the first day of 2010. The Defamation Act 2009 now governs all claims of defamation arising since the commencement of the new legislation. Libel Workshop After
